On a lighter note, I dug through my favourites and also scoured further through them to find other tunes. Oh what gems I found! Especially tracks like The xx's Crystallised, which accompanied me through my darkest hours in the last few two years. Also, even though the title is rather cannibal like, Crave You is extremely relevant to any girl at any point of time. Two kids playing hard to get, only to find that they need to be upfront about their feelings in order for them to get somewhere.

Just hope school will treat me well this year. I'm sure there is more to life than not seeing the back of your head anymore...

2011 has been my Skins year.

Heartbroken people find solitude in Fix You. For me,I have to say that Life in Technicolour ii is my favourite track from them. Even though you all probably know that I'm in a love hate relationship with Coldplay now because these men have changed for the worse, I always go back to this song to remind myself how much I used to enjoy their music. The music video is really cute too, never fails to make my sister laugh.

Yesterday's birthday celebration was really unexpected and wonderful.
I cleaned up my room in the morning and just sat on my bed till 3pm replying to people's wishes.
Then I went off to meet athirah first at pasir ris inter.
Before she came, there was this old lady who was smiling at me and it was really weird. Like, sorry grandma i'm not exactly interested... HAHA NAH IM JUST KIDDING.
Athirah called and told me to look front but all I saw was this pastor and his daughter... Which turned out to be her and a random pastor HAHA WTF.
Found a one direction photo-clue (which is now on my wall) which led us to downtown east.
At downtown we found another Yuri clue (super cute photo oh gosh) and that one was really difficult. I am such a dumb bimbo i swear...
Had to walk to the yogurt shop which made me do 17 jumping jacks. I didn't use a belt so it was really worrying for me since i lost weight and my jeans.. oh god hahaha that clue was difficult too!
Went to ntuc to get the next clue which led us to magic wok and got surprised by the rest. Stupid me, i cried when i saw what they got. My eyeliner and kohl ran really badly! Lex took pics, so embarrassing. The fact that they even placed so much effort on an idiot like me :,)
I really couldn't speak in proper sentences yesterday cos i was so confused, surprised, touched and overwhelmed! Brimming with emotions haha.
The girls were really sweet too, my whatsapp was spammed with "Happy birthday" :,)

Went home contented.
Cleaned up everything. Planning to reply to the fb wishes later at noon.
Naturally woke up at 6am by the way.
It was just like a shooting out of my bed moment once it was 6am. Partly because my dream became too surreal, it just made reality forced herself into my dream and shoved me into the ground.
Dreamt about being used and getting pranked in a totally not fun way.
It's raining now and I feel like sleeping again since I called in sick for work.
Maybe I should, but hopefully the same dream won't happen again...

since I realized that the inner parts of my eyes need to be drawn on by kohl so my eyes won't look so far apart!

hello. quite a busy night. usual stream of notifications on my phone. usual messiness in my room. usual banter by my mum.

went for a literature question&answer session by three of the cast members of Richard lll today.
One of them was an actress in the Harry Potter series. She acted as Madam Poppy Pomfrey in the second and the last two HP movies.
Lovely cast, answered all the questions with really good humor.
They were hilarious too! Especially King Edward (I forgot the actor's name) who was candidly describing to us the nice queer things the British cast did that the American cast found extremely funny.

Lord Rivers (forgot his name) pointed me out in the audience because apparently I had "the I-want-to-ask-a-question" face. I didn't want to ask anything so I just dismissed it as usual. And of course the whole lecture laughed. Kind of disappointed that I didn't use that opportunity because Mr Wee was looking at me with "that look". the one that says "please ask a good question".

Avoided going to the advance talk because I don't want the school to screw up my perfectly planned out (actually I have not fully planned out my holidays but heck.) holiday plan.
Got the soccer camp consent form from Abi, and now I have to find a way to talk to my mum about soccer.
Sha has been against it for this week because she found out how much I have been slacking in math.
Yes, I detest math.
I can never focus during math lecture.
Well, I know why but I shall not disclose it...

Since I couldn't go for soccer, I had to go home.
Went out with my mum and sister to eat dinner at Swensens' before going home because my mum has to settle my cousin's wedding plans.

Had a wonderful time talking to the girls again.
in another group, i got kind of annoyed at the same old "joke" that Nic keeps telling on the 122 whatsapp group.
if one thing is repeated constantly, it gets really annoying and rude.

Woke up with a canker sore on my tongue, and I had little sleep last night.

And I overslept!

Went to school all grumpy and of course that makes me look more horrible than I already am.

The talks in the morning were not even beneficial.

Horrible news.

Became a cranky cat for a while till Project Work lecture.

Annoyed, amused, angsty, bored.

Canker sore got worse (Yes, I refuse to call it an ulcer)

Slacked at the library and went up to the 4th floor to pray.

Decided to skip the next talk (which my friends had mixed reviews of.)

and went to eat at BK again... for the second time in the week!!

I thought this innocent move was gonna be redeemed by my run later in school,

but lo and behold, it rained. Horrible horrible rain.

Got into a panic attack cos i hate being a whole blob of worthless fat.

People would flame me for this because I am 45kg but really, numbers don't matter,

As long as I feel uncomfortable in my skin, I need to run.

Got cheated into taking the bus away from home so I just hanged around with my friend, got myself a magazine and went home.

Pretty depressing right?

I need to stop thinking about people.

Thoughts about dreams and perceptions are creating a massive hurricane in my head.
My sisters' changing attitudes are currently one of the main causes of why I am thinking about perceptions.
How do they see me? Do they even begin to respect me? I know that respect is earned but how do you earn it properly without them abusing the power given to them, to bestow you with their respect.

They start to think that they are much better than you when you treat them with kindness.
It's a game here, a shadow play for sure.
We're all acting out our own deaths as a family.
We only cling on to each other because we are bound by the blood in our veins.
No, I do not want us to be that, I want this family to work.

Another thing about perceptions:
recently my class clique mates said that I sugar coated some things.
Let's just say that it is a rather personal matter so I would not disclose the matter.
But then again, I tried telling them about what that person said and they went to check.
They said that it was worse that it sounds, because I made it sound so ... how do i say this: acceptable?

So, how do words change people's perceptions of you?
An expletive will cause you to be labelled as rude.
An apology or some manners will just cause you to be labelled as well-mannered or fake.
Laments of hopes and dreams, countless "wishes" and desire, will cause you to be regarded as a dreamer.

We often struggle for the right words to say, because sometimes there are things that we cannot undo.

I feel like such a useless fucked up failure.

To start off, I realised I was kinda moody for the second half of Friday.
